It’s been a very busy month once again within the BAJFC Website as visitors to our site continue to show we are up there with the best when it comes to football websites in the Junior scene throughout Scotland.
The month of January was a busy month for the club, on and off the park. On a sad note, the Fed lost former captain Lee Bertie at the start of the month, and our figures below show how popular he was throughout the football scene with everyone that knew him.
On the playing front, Broughty Athletic were knocked out of the Junior Scottish Cup by Sauchie JFC in the fourth round, losing 4-0 at Whitton Park. A 1-1 draw away against Newtongrange Star and a heavy 5-2 away defeat to Camelon in the Super League wrapped up the football during the month.
Off the field, on loan striker Kane Hester returned to his parent club Arbroath FC, defender Frankie Lannen returned back to the Fed following his loan move to Newburgh JFC. Also returning was Danny Cavanagh, from his travels abroad. Broughty also signed former Trinidad & Tobago striker Richard ‘Shaka’ Roy until the end of the season.
Visits to our website for the month of January hit a fantastic 25,436, 11,000+ up on December’s total, with an average of 820 views per day during the month. It’s the highest total number of views since the revamp of the website by our new Website Admin Team. These figures show the BAJFC website is very popular within the junior football scene along with the club’s Facebook & Twitter pages.
All at BAJFC, especially the Website Admin Team, would like to thank everyone yet again for visiting the website and checking out what’s happening within the club as we aim to bring you the latest news, views and happenings in and around at the club and connected with the club and we all look forward to 2017…
