Broughty Athletic will look to capitalize on their opening game of the season win at Whitton Park against Sauchie when visitors Forfar West End come calling on Tuesday night in the Super League. The game has been brought forward as so not to clash with the local Dundee derby on Wednesday night in the city.
Broughty’s opponents FWE, went down 3-0 at home to last season’s Super League runners up Bonnyrigg Rose on Saturday so will be up for getting their season started on Tuesday night. They gained promotion to the Super League via the playoff win over Newtongrange Star, only to be told they were promoted following Kelty Hearts leaving the Super League. Either way, they deserve their place and will prove tough opposition against the Fed.
Broughty go into the game with still only Dayle Robertson on the injured list following an injury he picked up against North End in a friendly match recently.
The game is a 6-45pm kick off on Tuesday night at Whitton Park.
Admission prices are £6 for Adults and £3 for OAPs/Kids. The “Broughty Pie Shop” will be in operation before and during the game for those wishing to grab a bite to eat…
