Broughty Athletic’s pre-season training is well underway having started on Thursday night and again today. The lads put in a light shift on Thursday having returned from their breaks but the harder sessions kicked in today at a rain-soaked Dawson Park in Dundee.

With some players missing due to being away on holidays, manager Keith Gibson was happy with today’s 90-minute session in the pouring rain, saying the players put in a great shift and showed tremendous spirit in the two sessions so far. They now move on to more training this week as they aim to up their fitness levels before the Fed’s first pre-season fixture which is now against Saturday amateur side, Dundee Argyle, on Tuesday 19th July at Whitton Park with a 7pm kick-off.
