Broughty Athletic secured their third win on the trot with a 2-0 home win over visitors Dundee Violet at Whitton Park on Saturday afternoon.

Fed striker Josh Skelly netted his first of two goals as early as the first minute to put his side 1-0 up. It wasn’t until the 55th minute Skelly doubled his tally and the Feds lead to 2-0. The win puts Broughty into fifth position in the league table, level on points with four other teams on nine points.

Next week the Fed are on their travels as they visit Strathmore Park, home of Forfar West End, with kick-off at 1-30pm.
