Striker Ryan Connelly has returned to his parent club Cowdenbeath FC after his successful loan period came to an end at the weekend with the Fed.

Ryan joined the Fed back at the start of September and netted a hat-trick on his debut against Luncarty in a 6-3 win at Whitton Park, pictured below.

Fed manager Jamie McCunnie said of Ryan’s time at the club and his departure…

“It was a successful time having Ryan here at the club and we all hope he returns to Cowdenbeath FC and push on and hopefully break into the first team, he deserves it.

It’s been a pleasure having him here at the club, his attitude, his effort and his work rate have been first class throughout his time here and we thank him for that. It’s great when you take young players on loan from clubs who have an attitude like his, many can learn from him”.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Ryan for his time here and wish him all the very best in his return to Cowdenbeath FC…
