Broughty Athletic face their fourth Super League game of the new season on Wednesday night when they make the short trip across the River Tay to face current league leaders St Andrews United in Fife.
Following their narrow 2-1 defeat on Saturday away to Broxburn Athletic, The Fed manager Keith Gibson is keen to get back to winning ways and St Andrews are in his thoughts in doing so. But with two wins out of three, defeating Bonnyrigg 2-0, Tayport 4-1 and losing by the odd goal, 2-1, at home to Boness United, hosts St Andrews who are managed by former Aberdeen player Phil McGuire will be a hard match for The Fed.
Previous scorelines between the sides, last season in the Premier League, saw Broughty Athletic come out top in both fixtures, winning 6-2 and 2-0 but both teams have changed playing personel since then so all to play for come Wednesday.
Kick-off is at 7pm at The Parkk, Langlands Road, St Andrews, KY16 8BN.
