Broughty Athletic are back on Super League duty this Saturday when they make the journey to Victoria Park, home of Newtongrange Star.

With a great 3-1 EOS Cup win against visitors Musselburgh Athletic Saturday past, The Fed will be hoping for back to back victories and three points against their hosts. Newtongrange currently sit fourth bottom of the league with six points from six games, both wins coming against Tayport and current Super League champions Kelty Hearts on opening day of the new season, with The Fed just two points ahead in eighth place.

Speaking with BAJFC manager Keith Gibson, he had this to say “We have a near full squad travelling to Midlothian, bar two players, Jamie Sime and Barry Myles, are both out injured and will miss the trip. But some good news is long term absentee Paul Lunan (pictured above)has returned to training with the squad but this Saturday maybe to close for a return for him…”

Kick-off at Victoria Park is 2-30pm.
