Broughty Athletic JFC are pleased to announce that central-midfielder Ross McCord has signed for the club on a one-year deal. Ross is pictured above at training with BAJFC assistant manager Stewart Petrie after signing for the Fed.
The former Dundee United, Stirling Albion, Alloa and Montrose FC midfielder had been closely watched by Fed manager Keith Gibson and he is delighted he has got his man to help bolster his side’s midfield in an attacking way. The manager had this to say about new recent signing…
“Ross is a great signing for the club and a player I wanted in my team. He attacks from the midfield and isn’t shy in scoring a goal or two with his style of play. He can also play on the right of midfield also which will be a bonus if we need him there. He’ll fit in as we aim to make a push up the Super League in the new season ahead…”
26yr old Ross, pictured right with Montrose FC, started his career back in 2009 with local senior side Dundee United and was loaned out to Stirling Albion and Montrose FC during his time there. He was then transferred to Alloa from United before being loaned back out to Montrose where he eventually signed for the Links Park side in 2013.
All at BAJFC welcome Ross to Whitton Park and wish him all the very best for the 2016/17 season ahead.
