Broughty Athletic JFC are pleased to announce the signing of Ryan Blair from Saturday amateur side NCR on a two-year contract.

Ryan, who plays in defence as a left-back, spent two season’s at NCR, winning the George Buckman Premier League, the Bremner Cup, and the Fairfield Shield in his last season there.

Fed manager Keith Gibson had Ryan watched several times throughout the season and invited him along to train with the squad when he could from away back in February. After capturing his left-back, the manager had this to say on his latest signing…

“I’ve been very impressed with Ryan from what we’ve seen of him playing for NCR and at our training sessions. He’s young, fast, skillful and very competitive and will slot in at the club and do well during his time here I’m sure. It’s a big step up from the Saturday amateurs to Junior League level but I wouldn’t have signed him unless I thought he could manage the step up.

He’ll enjoy his summer holidays and we look forward to seeing him come pre-season training which kicks off early July with several double training sessions then plenty of friendly games that we have arranged…”

All at BAJFC welcome Ryan to the club and wish him all the best in the next two years.
