Broughty Athletic have received a new Super League fixture following this Saturday’s home game against current league champions Kelty Hearts, with Tayport being the opposition at Whitton Park on Wednesday 11th May, kick-off being 7pm.BroughtyAthletic-150px-transparentCurrently, as things stand as of Wednesday morning, Broughty Athletic require just six more points to confirm their Super League status for next season from a maximum 21 to play for, as they have seven games left to play. The Fed currently sit in 11th place with 30 points. The bottom two teams will be relegated with the third bottom placed team facing a play-off place game with third-placed in the Premier League.

As it is, Tayport and Sauchie can only reach 35 points should they win all their remaining games and St Andrews United 33 points. So six more points for the Fed would guarantee Super League status.

Two fixtures are scheduled for Wednesday evening in the Super League, Camelon v Sauchie and Newtongrange Star v Bonnyrigg Rose.
