Broughty Athletic, fresh off their 5-1 GA Engineering Cup final win on Sunday over Tayport, face their near local rivals Lochee United in their last game of the 2016/17 season this Saturday at Whitton Park.

Broughty are guaranteed to finish in seventh place in the Super League this season compared to their maiden season of tenth, but only a win could see them leapfrog Dundonald Bluebell into sixth place. Saturday’s opponents occupy fifth position and due to a large goal difference, should they lose against the Fed, fifth will be their finishing position following promotion to the Super League last season.

The sides last met on the 6th May at Thomson Park where the Fed left empty handed following a 2-0 defeat with both goals scored in the first half of the game.

All fans are reminded this game is a 2-30pm kick off at Whitton Park.
