After Saturday’s game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at the home of Camelon, Broughty Athletic will try to kick off 2018 when they welcome local neighbours Carnoustie Panmure to Whitton Park on Saturday in the Super League.
The sides have already met this season with the Fed running out 6-2 winners at Laing Park back in early October 2017, with striker Kevin Milne netting a hat-trick, pictured below slotting in his third goal. Last season’s fixture at Whitton Park saw Panmure take the points back home following a 4-3 win.
One eye will be firmly on weather watch this week as temperatures are set to plummet once again. We aim to keep you informed of any planned pitch inspections, call-offs etc as soon as we can do so, fingers crossed for the game to go ahead.
