The Fed make the very short journey to face Lochee United at Thomson Park in a Super League local derby clash on Wednesday night. Both teams are unbeaten in the league so far, both with two wins and a draw each which sets up Wednesday nights game to be a cracker.
The Fed dropped two points on Saturday with a 1-1 draw away to Kennoway Star Hearts and interim manager Jamie McCunnie will be looking for the squad to bounce back and grab the points on offer.
Hosts Lochee United, opened their Super League account with a 2-2 home draw with Hill of Beath followed by two convincing wins away to Carnoustie Panmure, 5-0, and Saturday past against Sauchie, 4-0, so a very hard game is in store for the Fed come Wednesday night.
Previous score lines between the sides last season saw the Bluebells complete the double over the Fed, winning 2-0 at Thomson Park and 3-2 at Whitton Park on the final day of the season with Jamie Winter and former player Ross McCord getting on the scoresheet for Broughty.
Going into Wednesday nights game, the Fed will be without Dayle Robertson who is still out injured following an injury he picked up during pre-season.
All fans are reminded this game is a 6-45pm kick off at Thomson Park, Napier Drive.
