Broughty Athletic will be looking to make it three in a row of Super League wins this Saturday when they make the journey to Fife to face newly promoted Kennoway Star Hearts on Saturday. With wins over Sauchie and more recently Forfar West End, the Fed will be all out for the points to maintain their unbeaten start to the league campaign.

Hosts KSH lost heavily on the opening day of the season, going down 4-0 away to Camelon and then losing narrowly 1-0 away to Hill of Beath on Wednesday night so they will be up for their first home game in the Super League following their promotion last season as runners up to Premier League winners Sauchie.

Broughty go into the game with no fresh injury worries following Tuesday night’s 3-1 win. A couple of players took small knocks but should be available come Saturday. The only definite player not making the trip will be recent new signing Dayle Robertson who is still injured. Interim manager Jamie McCunnie will be looking for more from his side despite the two wins under his belt, his thoughts being the side haven’t fully reached their fitness peak and didn’t perform too well midweek despite getting the win.

A good result come Saturday would boost the side going into another midweek fixture next Wednesday when the Fed make the very short trip along the road to face local rivals Lochee United.

Kick off at Treaton Park on Saturday is at 2-30pm.
