Broughty Athletic JFC are delighted to announce KA Goalkeeping as the Official Glove Partner for The Fed’s goalkeepers. Pictured above at a recent training session wearing their new additions are Fed keepers John Sinclair, left, Iain Ross, right, with  goalkeeping coach Mark Murray centre.

KA Goalkeeping was founded and launched in 2007 by former professional goalkeeper and now Queen of the South Goalkeeping Coach Kenny Arthur. Kenny plied his trade both north and south of the border including Partick Thistle, Accrington Stanley and Grimsby Town amongst others amassing over 400 first team appearances during his nearly 20-year professional career.

Using the expertise he gained during his professional career, he has helped develop and enhance his glove range since inception in 2007 and offers assistance to any goalkeeper who joins the KA Goalkeeping team.
As you will see from the KA website (, the gloves have been technically innovated over the past 8 years and Iain, John & Mark look forward to wearing the KA Brand over the coming seasons.

The Fed’s goalkeeping coach, Mark Murray, and reserve keeper John Sinclair both spoke of their delight with the new partnership. Read below what they had to say…

“For a goalkeeper to excel, confidence is key, and while an inbuilt natural ability and good hands are fundamental, these attributes are only enhanced by good quality goalkeeper gloves. Being familiar with KA Goalkeeping and its range of gloves, as a coach I’m now confident that when our goalkeepers go onto the pitch every aspect of their game preparation has been covered – technical, physical, mental and, in having trust in their gloves, the equipment to be able to do their job…then, it’s over to them…” said coach Mark Murray.

John Sinclair said of his new glove arrivals…“I am delighted that Broughty Athletic has set up a glove partnership with KA Goalkeeping. I have worn the KA Gloves before and was impressed with their quality and comfort. I look forward to wearing the brand and keeping clean sheets for both Broughty Athletic and Dryburgh Athletic U19’s.”
