BAJFC start their quest to retain the GA Engineering Cup they won last May when they visit The Canniepairt, home of Tayport JFC in the first round of the competition this Saturday afternoon.
Both sides met in the final last season on the 28th May with the Fed running out comfortable 5-1 winners over their opponents at Tannadice Park and the Fed will be looking to kick-start their campaign with another win on their road to retain the cup. Several players from that winning side have now moved on but those that take their place will still be as eager to get to the final.
Hosts Tayport currently sit in the sixth position in their East Region Premier League having won four out of their seven home games so far and they will be looking to put one over the Fed with former Fed assistant manager Charlie King now in charge of the Canniepairt side.
All fans are reminded this game is a 1-45pm kick off at The Canniepairt, home of Tayport JFC. Should the game end in a draw after 90mins then a penalty shoot-out will determine who enters the hat for the second round.
