Broughty Athletic open their Super League account for the year 2020 with a trip to Westview Park to face seventh-placed Kirriemuir Thistle in the Super League on Saturday.

The sides have already met this season, as recently as the 14th December when the Fed won narrowly 2-1 at Whitton Park with Bryan Duell and Derryn Kesson netting for the Fed, with Kesson’s goal being the winner right at the death.

Visitors Kirriemuir lost their last Super League game, a heavy 5-2 defeat at current league leaders Carnoustie Panmure and 2-1 against the Fed in their previous league fixture. They currently sit in seventh place in the league on fifteen points from thirteen games. Their last home win at Westview Park was at the start of December, a 3-0 win against Scone Thistle.

The Fed will be looking to get back to winning ways following their recent 3-1 league defeat at home at the hands of Luncarty following a run of five league wins on the trot.

All fans are reminded Saturday’s game is a 1-30pm kick-off at Westview Park, home of Kirriemuir Thistle.
