Broughty Athletic slumped to their third Super League defeat in a row today, going down 3-0 at Newtown Park to Bo’ness United.

Trailing to a late first-half goal, Broughty were still in the game and went in at halftime 1-0 down. Two further second half goals put paid to any comeback from the Fed despite a few efforts, Grant Lawson hitting the crossbar also, and the result saw them rack up their third Super League defeat on the trot and slip down to fourth in the league table.

Broughty travel to current league leaders Kelty Hearts next Saturday in their quest to stop the slump and get some valuable points on the board.
