Broughty Athletic dropped one place from sixth to seventh in the Super League following other results today, despite not even kicking a ball.

With the Fed having no game following their fixture away to Camelon at Carmuirs Park being called off due to a water-logged pitch, only Broxburn could leapfrog the Fed with a win and they certainly did that, smashing eight goals without reply past Forfar West End this afternoon.

Other fixtures saw league leaders Bonnyrigg Rose win 5-1 over Kennoway Star Hearts and Penicuik Athletic win 3-1 against Dundonald Bluebell

Broughty are next in action next Saturday when they welcome local neighbours Carnoustie Panmure to Whitton Park, weather permitting.
