After the overnight weather conditions, Broughty Athletic’s away fixture at Penicuik Athletic was given the go-ahead following a 9-30am pitch inspection at Penicuik Park.

Missing for the Fed through injury were Graham Hay, Fraser Smith, Garry Kenneth and goalkeeper Chris McPherson. Also missing were Paul McLellan and Barry Myles due to work commitments. Only three substitutes were named for the visitors, Jordan Garden, Taylor Berry and Liam McCartney.

The Fed went in at halftime 1-0 behind following a goal 29mins when the ball was slotted underneath Fed keeper John Sinclair. Derryn Kesson equalized on 51mins to make it 1-1 scoring his third of the season but within five minutes the home side restored their lead to make it 2-1 with a volley into the net.

No further scoring and the final score stayed 2-1 to the home side.
