Broughty Athletic lost their last away fixture of the league season when they went down 4-1 away to Hill of Beath Hawthorn at Keirs Park this afternoon.

Trailing 3-0 following three early goals, the first in the sixth minute, then the twelfth and eighteenth minute, Broughty managed to pull a goal back on 38mins courtesy of Brain Clark.

A further goal in the second half after 54mins finished the scoring in the game and gave high-flying Hill of Beath their fourth win on the trot and Broughty their second loss on the bounce. The defeat also sees Broughty drop from 6th to 8th position in the Super League table.
