Broughty Athletic are pleased to announce that defender Frankie Lannen has re-signed on at the club for another twelve months.
Frankie’s contract was due to expire at the end of this season but Fed manager Keith Gibson was quick to get his young defender tied up for another year. Frankie has been at Broughty since July 2015 and was a regular in the side before injury forced him to miss a few months of football. But now back fit he has featured recently in the fixture pile-up of games as the season comes to an end.
Frankie spoke of his delight to stay at the club…
“I’m very pleased to be staying on at Broughty. Once the manager made his intentions clear that he wanted me to stay there was no hesitation in signing the papers to keep me here. I missed a few months through injury, that’s all behind me now, I’ve played bit parts in the team recently and I’m looking forward to a good pre-season and to be fit and ready for the start of next season…”
All at BAJFC would like to thank Frankie for deciding to stay and wish him all the best in his next year with the Fed.
