BAJFC are pleased to announce that defender Ryan Blair has signed a one-year extension to his current contract keeping him at Whitton Park until the summer of 2019.
21yr old Ryan, pictured above with Fed Assistant Manager Charlie King and coach Tony McAuley, joined the Fed early July 2016 when manager Keith Gibson signed him from amateur side NCR and he instantly became a regular in the Broughty side. So far this season Ryan has featured in 36 of the Fed’s 37 games this season in all competitions in his usual left back position.
Fed Assitant Manager Charlie King had this to say on Ryan’s contract extension…
“Ryan is a great lad and such a good player on his day. He’s still young, he is eager to learn and has a lot of pace about him. He’s fitted in well at the club since he was given his chance and he’s not let the team down.
With the experienced lads we have at the club, the likes of defenders Jamie McCunnie and Barry Myles in our defence, Ryan will learn a lot from them during his time here playing alongside them and I’m delighted he’s extended his contract with us…”
Everyone at BAJFC congratulates Ryan on his signing extension and wish him all the very best in the coming years at the Fed.
