Broughty Athletic defender Barry Myles came through another full 90 minutes at his loan club Dundee North End on Saturday in his bid to regain full match fitness after a lengthy injury.

It was Barrys third appearance for North End since the club loaned him out to gain match fitness before a return to the squad, but he could not help his loan side as North End went down 2-1 to North Division league leaders Blairgowrie.

North End manager George Shields had this to say on Barrys display…

“Once again we had Barry playing the full 90 minutes at right centre back for North End away to Blairgowrie. He played well again, was very steady in defence throughout the game and is improving on his fitness in every game he plays for us…”
