Broughty Athletic central defender Jamie Sime has returned to The Fed, all but briefly, and has now been loaned out to local junior side Dundee Violet, the club he left to sign for The Fed back in August 2015.
After signing for The Fed, Jamie broke his foot in his debut appearance in a 3-0 loss at home to Penicuik Athletic late August and had battled back to resume training recently with the squad. Then an agreement between BAJFC manager Keith Gibson and Jamie was made for him to go out on loan mid-December to gain match fitness with local side North End and return to the club to stake his claim in the Broughty side. But call-offs due to the recent poor weather since Jamie switched to North End, plus the festive break, meant he never actually made his debut for North End and has thus played no competitive football.
So now Jamie rejoins his former club till the end of the season and all at BAJFC wish him all the very best.
