BAJFC are pleased to announce that defender Frankie Lannen, pictured left in blue against Hill of Beath, has returned to the club from his loan spell at North Division side Newburgh Juniors.

Frankie suffered a foot injury towards the end of last season but helped the club finish a respectable tenth place in the league in their maiden season. He came through pre-season only to suffer a relapse, injuring the same foot at the start of this season making him miss the Fed’s first eight league games.

Frankie was put out on loan to regain match fitness and much-needed match time in September to Newburgh whilst still training with the Fed. When he joined his loan club, they were languishing in second-bottom place in the North Division, with just the one point collected from their opening six league games. Frankie leaves them sitting in 9th place with 16 points from 15 games. He was an unused substitute on Saturday in the Fed’s 1-1 draw away to Newtongrange Star in the Super League.

Everyone at the club welcomes Frankie back and wish him all the best for the remainder of this season.
