Broughty Athletic travel North on Saturday as they face North Region Super League side Culter JFC in the 3rd round of the GA Engineering Cup at Crombie Park.

A recent run of poor results for the Fed in the league has seen them slip from fifth position, a position they’ve held for several weeks, down to seventh following three draws and a defeat alongside being knocked out of the Scottish Cup. A win would be a welcome boost to the squad come Saturday.

Hosts Culter currently occupies the sixth position in their fourteen teams Super League, with 19 points on the board from 10 games played. Culter set up the 3rd round clash with the Fed having disposed of fellow league side Maud 6-3 at Crombie Park.

Broughty go into the game with no fresh injury worries and will be looking to get a win on the board, something last achieved away back against local side Downfield JFC in the Scottish Cup, a 5-1 win away from home.

All fans are reminded this game is a 2pm kick off at Crombie Park. Should the game finish level after 90 minutes then a penalty shoot-out will determine who enters the hat for the next round.
