Broughty Athletic manager Keith Gibson has made a bold move and signed striker Kane Hester from senior side Arbroath FC on loan.

With current striker James Collier out injured, the manager has made the move to help bolster his striking options up front, with only six goals coming from two of his four named strikers, James Collier with four goals and Matty Adam with two out of Broughty’s 32 goals scored this season so far in all competitions.

21yr old Hester has signed on loan until January and will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s Super League visit to Bo’ness United at Newtown Park.

All at BAJFC would like to welcome Kane to the club and wish him all the very best during his time here.
