Broughty Athletic are back on league business when they welcome Camelon to Whitton Park this Saturday in a league clash. The Fed will be looking to get back to winning ways following their recent EOS Cup exit last Saturday at the hands of East Craigie.
Three wins and a draw have seen the Fed make a promising start to their league campaign to take the seventh position in the league so far but a win and some results for them could see them move up to third after just seven games.
Visitors Camelon currently occupy the twelfth position following two wins and four defeats, their wins coming against Kennoway Star Hearts and Sauchie, both the teams newly promoted this season to the Super League.
Previous score lines between the sides last season saw Camelon do the double over the Fed, winning 1-0 at Whitton Park and 5-2 in the reverse fixture at Carmuirs Park at the end of January this year.
Broughty go into the game still with an injury list to contend with, namely Fraser Smith, who will definitely miss out. Garry Kenneth and Derryn Kesson will both face late fitness tests as both are carrying knocks. Back into the squad comes Kieran McWalter who returns from holiday.
All fans are reminded this game is a 2-30pm kick off at Whitton Park. Admission prices are £6 for Adults and £3 for Kids/OAPs. The ‘Broughty Pie Shop’ will be in operation for those wishing to grab a bite to eat before or during the game.
