Broughty Athletic got back to winning ways in some style, securing their second win in the Super League, when they romped home with a resounding 5-0 away win against St Andrews United tonight, moving them into third place in the league.

A Stuart McConnachie double in the first half had The Fed in control going in at halftime 2-0 to the good.

With the hosts reduced to ten men on the hour mark, a further three goals in the second half from Jake Mair, Grant Lawson and a Bryan Duell penalty in the last five minutes of the game, with the hosts further reduced to nine men following another sending off, finished off a terrific performance from Broughty against their hosts.

Next up for Broughty is an away fixture to Fauldhouse on Saturday.
