Broughty Athletic JFC are pleased to officially announce that defender Graham Hay has joined the club on a two-year deal from local side Lochee United. Fed manager Keith Gibson is delighted with his latest capture, having tried to sign him twice before during his time as manager of the club. But third time lucky now and Graham is now at the club.

Graham, nicknamed Hayser, signed for Lochee United away back in the summer of 2007 when he was released from Dundee FC. Following his first stint with the Bluebells, he left to have a go back in senior football where he joined Brechin City. Following spells at Formartine United and Arbroath FC, he rejoined Lochee United in September 2015.

He’s currently not played much football this year having been on the sidelines with injury at Lochee United but now that he’s signed on at the Fed, he is raring to go and make his mark on the side and the new Super League season ahead.

Fed manager Keith Gibson had this to say on his latest signing… “I’m absolutely delighted with our capture of Graham and that he has finally signed for the club, it’s been a long time coming having tried to sign him twice before. He’s a player I’ve admired for a while now and wanted in my team. He’s now here at the club but still carrying a niggling injury which we’ll help him get through with then get him back to full fitness and into the side…”

Everyone at BAJFC would like to welcome Graham on board at the club and wish him all the very best in his time here with the Fed. More signings will be announced in due course over the coming days…
