After Broughty Athletic’s great start to the new 2016/17 season, and with recent injuries to some players, Fed manager Keith Gibson is looking to strengthen his squad as numbers are thin and is currently in talks with a couple of players before the weekend.

Going into this Saturday’s East of Scotland Cup game away to West Calder United, Broughty will be without the injured trio of Grant Lawson, Frankie Lannen and Jake Mair, all out long-term, Ryan Suttie and James Collier with knocks, Barry Myles on holiday and Jamie Sime who is on the transfer list.

Fed manager Keith Gibson is confident of one or at least two new signings before the weekend game and we aim to bring the news as soon as possible. Check back on Friday for any developments.
