Broughty Athletic let a 2-0 first-half lead slip and had to settle for a point following a second-half fightback by visitors Broxburn Athletic this afternoon at Whitton Park.

The Fed were 2-0 to the good with goals from new signing Chris Liversedge, who signed from Coupar Angus yesterday, and Stuart McConnachie. But two goals in the second half, one a penalty, was enough for Broxburn to take a point home with them.

Team: Ross, McCunnie, McNaughton, Hay, Suttie, Winter, McWalter, Liversedge, Kesson, McConnachie, Milne.

Subs used: Fleming on for McCunnie, Robertson on for Liversedge, Smith on for McWalter.

The draw sees’s Broughty into eighth position in the league with a trip to local rivals Carnoustie Panmure next Saturday.
