With their season finished last Wednesday night with a home defeat to Fauldhouse United, the Fed were sitting in 9th place going into today’s final three games of the season. With Penicuik Athletic’s 3-1 home win over Carnoustie Panmure today, the result means Broughty Athletic JFC now finish their first season in the Super League in tenth place.

Fauldhouse United’s fine run of three wins in their last three games saw them pick up nine points and avoid finishing in third bottom place, the relegation playoff spot. It’s now Sauchie who occupy that position and will now play Premier League side Lochee United, who finished third in their league behind promoted Jeanfield Swifts and Dundonald Bluebell.

Relegated from the Super League are Fife sides St Andrews United and Tayport, whom both Broughty Athletic took maximum points off in the league, home and away.
