Broughty Athletic play their first pre-season friendly game on Tuesday night when they welcome Sunday Amateur side Dundee Argyle to Whitton Park.
It’s the first of five games lined up for the Fed before they face Linlithgow Rose on opening day of the new 2016/17 Super League season on August 6th at Prestonfield Park.
Tuesday night’s visitors, Argyle, play in the Sunday Amateur Premier Division, and recently won the Scottish Amateur Cup at the end of the last season, as well as a clean sweep claiming all domestic trophies, the Association Cup, the Chairmans Cup, the League Cup as well as the League title, a fantastic achievement.
Broughty gaffer Keith Gibson will use this game to try out new signings, Ross McCord & Ryan Blair, plus some trialists before Saturday’s friendly against Highland League side Fraserburgh FC.
All fans please note that Tuesday night’s game at Whitton Park is a 7pm kick-off with free admission.
