Broughty Athletic brought their three game losing streak in the Super League to an end today with a fantstic hard fought 3-2 win and inflicting a first defeat of the season for visitors Linlithgow Rose at Whitton Park.

With the visitors taking an early lead in the game possibly the writing was on the wall for another defeat but The Fed got stuck in and rightfully equalized courtesy of a Bryan Duell (pictured below) penalty after 11mins, 1-1. Then just before the halftime whistle a 25yrd screamer from outside the box from Dougie Cameron put Broughty 2-1 up, scoring his first goal of the season in the process.
