Ryan McCord, brother of Fed midfielder Ross McCord, has put pen to paper and signed on at the club for the remainder of the season.

Manager Jamie McCunnie was desperate to get his new signing in time for Saturday’s 5-2 home win, a game in which Ryan (pictured above playing for Brechin City v Dundee Fc June 2019) starred and scored a well-worked goal, so much that notification came through an hour or two before kick-off.

Ryan brings to Whitton Park a wealth of footballing experience having played for the likes of Stirling Albion, Airdrie, Alloa Athletic, Raith Rover, Arbroath and more recently Brechin City. He is also not shy of scoring a goal or two, having notched over 60 top-flight goals for his clubs.

Saturday was his debut for the Fed against Forfar West End and he scored a well-taken goal in the first half to help his new team-mates to a 5-2 win and climb to third top in the league table.

Everyone at the club welcomes Ryan aboard and wishes him all the very best during his time here at BAJFC
