Following on from defender Jay Smart’s move to local side Lochee Harp as their new assistant manager, Broughty Athletic can announce that midfielder Ross McCord is to leave the club by mutual consent.

Ross, pictured left starring against Camelon back in October 2016, joined the Fed back in the summer of 2016 from senior side Montrose FC after spells at Stirling Albion and Alloa Athletic and appeared thirty-two times for the Fed during the 2016/17 season and finished top goalscorer with 13 goals.

Ross, nicknamed Pingu, scored the crucial opening goal for the Fed in their 5-1 GA Engineering Cup success over Tayport in the Final at Tannadice Park in the month of May.

Everyone at BAJFC wishes Ross all the very best in his future and thank him for his time representing BAJFC.
