Jamie McCunnie spoke briefly of the performance of his side in the 4-1 home defeat on Saturday to East Craigie, thus crashing out of the East of Scotland Cup at the first hurdle. Read below what he said on the game…

“Not sure where to start to be perfectly honest. First of all, congratulations must go to East Craigie on getting through to the next round of the cup and I wish them well in the next round. I thought they thoroughly deserved the 4-1 result and their young players must take credit for their performance throughout the whole ninety minutes of the game. They out worked us, they were far more hungrier than us and showed a much better appetite for the game from the start than us, which is unacceptable at this club.

I told all the players in the dressing room after the game exactly what I thought of them and their performance. They let me down, they let the club down in many ways on Saturday and I’m demanding a much-improved performance in training this week and then next Saturday if we are to take anything from our home game against Camelon in the league…”
