It’s been a very busy month once again within the BAJFC Website as visitors to our site continue to show we are up there with the best when it comes to football websites in the Junior scene.

The month of December was a very busy month for the club, on and off the park. It saw the Fed receive the green light from the city council’s planning department for the redevelopment of Whitton Park. It also brought the news that assistant manager Stewart Petrie left the club to take up his new position as manager of senior side Montrose FC. Manager Keith Gibson pledged his future to the club by staying and not taking up the offer to go with Petrie to Montrose.

Liverpool FC legend Kenny Dalglish made a visit to Whitton Park during his ambassador duties for Scottish kids football. The club lost young striker Matty Adam to pursue his studies at University making way for the return, on a two and a half year deal, of striker Kevin Buchan from Cove Rangers. Loanee players James Yates and Kerr Hay returned to their parent club Forfar Athletic also.

On the playing front, Broughty racked up a 5-1 win over local side Downfield Juniors in the 3rd round of the Scottish Junior Cup and secure two draws against Linlithgow Rose and Jeanfield Swifts in the Super League.BroughtyAthletic-150px-transparentVisits to our website for the month of December hit a fantastic 14,161, 3000+ up on November’s total, that’s an average of 456 views per day during the month. It’s the second highest total number of views since the revamp of the website by our new Website Admin Team. These figures show the BAJFC website is very popular within the junior football scene along with the club’s Facebook & Twitter pages.

All at BAJFC, especially the Website Admin Team, would like to thank everyone yet again for visiting the website and checking out what’s happening within the club as we aim to bring you the latest news, views and happenings in and around at the club and connected with the club and we all look forward to 2017…
