Broughty manager, Keith Gibson, reflects back on Saturday’s 3-0 home defeat to visitors Penicuik Athletic in the Super League.
Keith had this to say…
“I’m really disappointed with the result, the performance and the manner in which we lost the game. We just can’t keep losing soft goals like we did and giving ourselves an uphill battle in the game. We’ve went from looking fairly solid defensively and shape wise in the team to losing seven goals in the last two games.
Too many of our players had days off against Penicuik, but credit to our visitors, they deserved their win. We had a good chat after the game and we’ll be working hard on the training pitch this week to rectify our faults. We have a great squad of players here at Broughty and I’m confident we’ll get a good response for this Saturday’s home game in the EOS Cup against Musselburgh…”
