Broughty Athletic JFC is pleased to announce that Steven Fallon has joined the club as assistant manager. Steven, better known as ‘Faldo’ to many, pictured on the right of the manager, was quick to say yes when Jamie approached him to discuss bringing him on board at the club.

Faldo started his football career at Dundee United alongside Jamie, as a defender, so both men are not strangers to one another. Following six years at Dundee United he had further spells in the senior game with Stenhousemuir, Arbroath and Queens Park before coming to the Junior scene with Dundee North End, Tayport, St Andrews United are more recently a coaching role at local side East Craigie. Faldo also recently coached Forfar Athletic Under20’s alongside his position at East Craigie.

“He brings with him a vast knowledge of the game from match days to training sessions and will be a big part of taking the team forward” said Jamie, as he has a role in playing for the side when possible, and the club is delighted to have him on board at this vital part of the season, the run in.

Everyone at BAJFC welcomes Steven to the club and wish him all the very best.
