Broughty Athletic built on Saturday’s 3-2 away win against Arbroath Vics with a 3-1 home win over Dundee North End at Whitton Park.

A Bryan Duell penalty had the Fed 1-0 up going into the halftime break. Second half Broughty doubled their lead in the 75th minute via Stuart McConnachie only for visitors North End to pull a goal back minutes later courtesy of former Fed player, James Russell. But the two goal cushion was restored five minutes from time when a Jake Mairs low strike from twelve yards found the back of the net. F/T 3-1.

Next up for Broughty Athletic is a trip to Montrose Roselea this Saturday in their third pre-season fixture in preparation  for their inaugural season in the East Region Super League.
