BAJFC can officially announce the signing of centre-midfielder Ryan Suttie from fellow Super League side Tayport on a two and a half year contract tonight. Ryan is pictured in-between Broughty manager Keith Gibson, left, and BAJFC President Ronnie McKenzie, right, at training.
24-year-old Ryan has been a target of manager Keith Gibson since he joined the club as manager last year and knows him well having been colleagues at senior side Arbroath FC. Ryan joined Tayport in 2013 from this Saturday’s opposition, St Andrews United, after leaving Arbroath. Speaking with the manager he had this to say on his new signing…
“I’m very happy to finally sign Ryan at the club. He’s a player I myself targeted when I became manager at the club and was determined to get him and now he’s here. He brings a great knowledge of the game and will slot into the centre of our midfield and will do well for us and I wish him all the best…”
Ryan will go straight into the squad for this Saturday’s visit of St Andrews United in the Super League, with kick off at Whitton Park being 1-45pm.
