All at Broughty Athletic JFC are ready and prepared for life in the Super League this coming season. Broughty kick-off with a home game at Whitton Park against visitors Camelon JFC this Saturday and it can’t come quick enough.
Having gained promotion last season from the East Region Premier League courtesy of a two legged play-off win over Armadale after a penalty shoot-out, Broughty have more than deserved their place in the top flight.
Camelon travel to Whitton Park having finished the 2014/15 season on a high by lifting the Fife & Lothians Cup with a 1-0 victory over Sauchie Juniors. Camelon finished the 2014/15 Super League season in 12th place amassing 31 points from 28 fixtures, however Derek Ure has strengthened an already established McBookie Super League Squad by signing ex Rangers and Stenhousemuir player Gregor Fotheringham and ex East Stirling midfielder Jamie Glasgow.
The pitch is looking fantastic at Whitton Park, the committee are ready and waiting and more importantly, manager Keith Gibson has the squad ready and prepared following a great pre-season build up. With a full injury free squad to choose from all at BAJFC wish the lads all the very best when Saturday comes and for the rest of the season in the Super League and Cup competitions.
Kick-off is at 2-30pm at Whitton Park. Admission prices are £5 for Adult, £2 for OAPs/Kids.
