Broughty Athletic defender Barry Myles played his first 90 minutes and scored from a corner for Dundee North End against Aberdeen University in the Scottish Junior Cup on Saturday following his loan move last week.

With Barry being out for several weeks with a hip injury, it was agreed to send him out on loan in a bid to get him back to full match fitness before slotting back into the Broughty first team squad. Speaking to North End manager George Shields, he had this to say on Barry’s first game for his side…

Barry played 90 minutes of football against Aberdeen University and scored from a corner in our 3-0 win. He played at right centre back and did well for his first game back after his injury for us.
